Aleksandra Kacprzak is a genealogical researcher living in Poland and the owner of the genealogy research company “Genoroots.”  Ms. Kacprzak graduated from Copernicus University in Toruń with a degree in archival science and completed the Eastern European Genealogy course at SLC. Ms. Kacprzak is a genealogical lecturer in both Poland and the United States.  In the United States, she has spoken throughout New England, including Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Jersey. Ms. Kacprzak is a founding member of Polish Genealogical Society PTG and a founding member and board member of the Association of Polish Professional Genealogists. In addition to her genealogy work, Ms. Kacprzak also provides heir tracing services for both lawyers and the courts. She is also a licensed tour leader and organizes personal ancestral tours as well as cultural oriented tours for larger groups.

Lucjan Cichoki began his genealogy career by accident.  He was working as an English teacher in Poland and was considering a career change.  In 2013, he went to the diocesan archive in Przemyśl with a friend and Mr. Cichocki saw the nineteenth century vital record books for the first time. He describes it as “love at first sight.”  He is now a full-time professional genealogist.  His areas of research include Poland, Slovakia and Western Ukraine.  In addition to genealogical research, Mr. Cichocki provides translation and transportation services to Americans visiting Poland in search of living relatives.  He is a member of the Association of Polish Professional Genealogists.

Marta Czerwieniec-Ivasyk is an archaeologist, PhD student and a professional genealogist.  She is also a member of the Polish Professional Genealogists Society and the Małopolski Genealogical Society.    In addition to Polish genealogy, Ms. Czerwieniec-Ivasyk also specializes in Ukrainian, Belarussian and Lithuanian genealogy.  She has spoken at the International Genealogical conferences in Brzeg and at the First International Genealogical Forum in Moscow.  She organizes individual trips for her clients who want to visit their ancestral villages.  She also provides heir tracing services for legal purposes.  She has also taught genealogy courses in Warsaw.
Ms. Czerwieniec-Ivasyk also maintains two Websites, one focused on old cemeteries (www.genealogiczne.pl) and the second about railway workers prior to World War II (www.kolejarze-online.pl).

Michał Jan Marciniak is a practicing lawyer and a passionate genealogist. His interest in genealogical research began in 1996. In 2005, Mr. Marciniak established his own genealogy company, PolGen Research which combines his legal background and his interest in genealogy to offer a unique combination of legal and genealogical services to a wide variety of clients all over the world.
Mr. Marciniak is the President of Genealogical Society of Warsaw,  Vice President of Association of Polish Professional Genealogists and a founding member of the Polish Genealogical Association.  He frequently participates in genealogy lectures and workshops to both share his knowledge of genealogy and to encourage others to research their family genealogy.

Tadeusz H. Pilat, known as “Teddy” to his American friends, holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Marie Curie-Sklodowska, Lublin, Poland.   At the University, he studied “supralibros” -the coat of arms applied to the book covers to identify the book owner.  He has extensive knowledge of family coat-of-arms.

In 2003, Mr. Pilat became an Accredited Genealogist specializing in Polish research.  In addition to Polish, Mr. Pilat does research in German, Russian and Latin records.  He is a frequent visitor to the United States to speak at genealogy conferences.  For his clients that chose to visit Poland, he will accompany them to look for living family and provides translation services.  He is currently working on both a Lemko extraction project and a Silesian database.  He is an active member of the Polish Genealogical Society of Texas.
In addition to his genealogy work, Mr. Pilat performs heir tracing for lawyers both inside and outside of Poland.

Piotr Nojszewski is an active member of the Warsaw Genealogical Society and currently serves as its Vice President.  He co-organized the international annual Central European Genealogy Conference in Warsaw which is hosted by the Warsaw Genealogical Society in cooperation with German genealogical society (AGOFF) and the Polish Archives in Warsaw and Łódź.
Mr. Nojszewski is a frequent genealogy lecturer in Poland.  He has spoken at the Polish National Genealogy Conference in Brzeg, the Polish Science Center Kopernik in Warsaw, and the State Archive in Warsaw. The topics of his lectures cover areas such as introduction to Polish Genealogy, non-metrical sources for genealogy research, DNA for genealogists, Poles in the Russian army and administration.
His areas of research extend beyond Poland, including Estonia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia and Germany.
